Livia Goetz is a 2004 graduate of Lewis & Clark Law School, where she focused on Criminal Law and Procedure and worked as a law clerk at the Office of the Federal Public Defender. She began her legal career as an assistant prosecuting attorney in Muskegon County, Michigan, and in 2006 returned to Oregon and became a defense attorney. She formed Sacks & Goetz, PC in 2011 with David Sacks.
Livia's practice consists of predominately criminal and juvenile court matters, including dependency and termination of parental rights matters, Measure 11 offenses, delinquency matters, sex offenses, relief from sex offender registration, and expunctions. Livia handles cases in multiple counties in Oregon, including Multnomah, Tillamook, Clackamas, Columbia, and Washington Counties.
Livia grew up in Grand Rapids, Michigan and attended the University of Michigan. She lives in Portland with her two children.
